Contact the County Administrative Board if you wish to apply for support for redevelopment or construction of a dwelling. We also help municipal authorities to plan their housing provision.

The County Administrative Board is responsible for housing grants and planning
The County Administrative Board is responsible, among other things, for the following housing matters:
- informing about the different forms of government subsidies and grants which are available for housing construction
- approving and paying out the subsidies and grants
- collating, analysing and following up the effects of the subsidies and grants
- conducting annual housing market surveys together with the Swedish Board of Housing, Building and Planning
- assisting the municipal authorities in planning their housing provision.
Applying for a grant
At the County Administrative Board you can apply for different grants to build or redevelop an apartment block, either for rental or owned on a co-operative basis, and to improve the residential environment. You can also apply for assistance to improve energy efficiency and to switch to renewable energy in public premises.
